Service Description

HeartCode BLS is the cognitive part of the class and is provide online in the confort of your home or office. This course must be taken with the in-person skill session with a live instructor at our site. Heartcode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills. After completing the online course portion, students attend must attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session in-person with Queen of Hearts certified instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Hands-on Skill Sessions times vary and may be scheduled through our website @ www.queenofheartscpr.org HeartCode BLS is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative method for completing the cognitive portion of the course in an initial or renewal BLS Course. Course Daily Release Times Varies; A link to the online course will be sent to the email you use to register for this course within 48hours. CERTIFICATION: 2 YEARS The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation and rescheduling of class, a 48 hour notice is required. Refunds will only be issued if class is canceled 48 hour prior scheduled course start time. To reschedule a class, 24 hours notice is required and will result in a $15.00 Rescheduling fee. Cancellations after the class start time will result in forfeit of refunds.
