HEARTSAVER CPR SKILL SESSION IN-PERSON

Service Description

Participants must have successfully completed the Heartsavers CPR, AED, Course online. Participants must bring in proof of course completion or email Course completions certificates to queenofhearts_cprtc@yahoo.com The hands-on skill practice and testing takes approximately 45- 90 min. Instructor will focus on; High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants; AHA Chain of Survival, early use of an AED, effective ventilations using a barrier device, Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) and Basic First Aid for adults and infants. CERTIFICATION: 2 YEARS The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation and rescheduling of class, a 48 hour notice is required. Refunds will only be issued if class is canceled 48 hour prior scheduled course start time. To reschedule a class, 24 hours notice is required and will result in a $15.00 Rescheduling fee. Cancellations after the class start time will result in forfeit of refunds.
